Traveling to Costa Rica
The CIEMI Training Center is located in San José, Costa Rica. This country is located in a privileged place in the heart of Central America, with nearly 20 thousand square miles of extension and beaches on the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, crossing from shore to shore can be done in a single day. Airport
The trip from the airport Juan Santamaría International Airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Juan Santamaría) to the area close to the Center is approximately 1 hour (las zonas cercan al colegio es de aproximadamente 1 hora [17 miles]). You can take an official taxi from the airport, orange in color, Uber, or public transport. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance when booking your airline tickets.
Transportation
Rental Cars: SEI has an account with Solid Auto, located in the San Jose Airport. The car pickup and dropoff is a few miles from the airport, but they offer a shuttle service. When booking, mention "Solar Energy International" to receive the pricing schedule.
Buses: The center is located in a very urban area, in a suburb of the Capital San José. Around the center, it is easy to get around on foot or on public buses. If you travel without a car, you can get to the center in a taxi or uber, and while there, travel around on public transportation.
Taxi/Uber: There are many taxis and ubers around the center.
